Strategic hires expand Bonfire to 47 staff
As a digital performance agency, growth is at our core. To continue to deliver the best results for our clients, we have added four new "bright minds" to our team.
We’re sure you’re across all the news and concerns around the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic that’s facing us.
At Bonfire, we’ve taken a very proactive approach to the situation, which we’d like to share with you. Foremost is the welfare of our community and assurance that business continues as usual.
Protecting the health and safety of our team, clients and visitors (as well as their families and friends), is our utmost priority. Accordingly, we’ve undertaken several initiatives to mitigate health risks and minimise the impact on everyone associated with Bonfire.
We currently require that all staff, visitors, and clients that have travelled outside of Australia in the last 14 days (or who have been in contact with anyone who has) to not attend the office. We are providing rescheduling and remote meeting and work options to ensure the business continues as usual.
This also applies to anyone who has presented with relevant symptoms or been diagnosed with Covid-19 in the last 14 days. Feel free to contact us if this directly affects any meetings you have booked with us.
Our agency has also:
Our primary focus (as always) is still the success of your campaigns. We’re working with clients to innovate and adapt, to deliver strong business performance during these times.
Shifts to “work from home” arrangements and quarantine/self-isolation have seen significant spikes in internet usage, meaning that online marketing is more critical than ever.
Fortunately, we were able to rapidly activate established risk management plans, which included work from home arrangements and remote client/campaign management procedures. This has helped us avoid many issues that others are facing, and more importantly, continue to serve you at the same level your accustomed to.
We’ve spent significant time developing our policies and procedures around Coronavirus. To simplify the process for businesses like yours, we’ve shared all our Coronavirus risk management documents here. Feel free to use them at your discretion. Of course, do your due diligence in ensuring they meet your requirements.
It’s hard to escape the “business” doom and gloom that’s evident now, and regrettably, many businesses are being forced into a very short-term mindset. We are all now clearly witnessing how important “digital and remote” has become to businesses, and how much more important it will become in the future.
It’s important to not panic, and instead plan with a cool head and take the appropriate steps to protect our businesses for the long term (“trim the fat, not the muscle”). One of our industry friends wrote this great post that helps solidify where our focus should be, to ensure we all successfully see out the next 6 – 12 months.
