Bonfire Announced Finalists for ‘2017 AMI Awards’
We're proud to have been nominated as finalists for the 2017 AMI Awards for Marketing Excellence in not one, but three categories!
We are proud to announce that Bonfire has received multiple finalist nominations at the 2019 Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) Awards for Marketing Excellence.
The nominations were announced at the WA Reveal Night at Perth’s Northbridge Brewing Company on July 31. Bonfire is both a state and national finalist in three categories, marking our third year of consecutive nominations.
The AMI Awards for Marketing Excellence celebrate the incredible work of marketing professionals nationwide. This year, there were over 200 entries in the 18 standard categories and seven special categories. Each finalist is a reflection of the industry’s strategic, innovative approaches and diverse campaigns.
Within WA, Bonfire is up against The Brand Agency as a state finalist for Marketing Agency of the Year. Our team was also named a state and national finalist for the same category in 2018.
Rene LeMerle, our Head of Marketing, is again up for the national Chief Marketing Officer of the Year title. Rene has already been awarded the state title for the third year in a row.
Bonfire is also a state finalist in the Data Driven Marketing Strategy category for our work with NSW CPAP. Our entry, ‘The devil is in the details: How data insights transformed NSW CPAP marketing ROI’, is competing against Carat’s campaign with Cash Converters. Bonfire was previously awarded the title in 2017 for our work with CV Check.
All finalists were selected by 120 AMI judges, who assessed factors like strategy, execution, outcomes achieved, and various B2B and B2C metrics.
On October 16, the winners will be announced at the awards gala dinner at the Pullman Melbourne on the Park hotel. The dinner is a celebration of the successes of the past year and recognises the excellent results achieved in the marketing industry nationwide.
