Bonfire Named WA Winner for AMI’s 2022 Insight Driven Marketing Award
The Australian Marketing Institute announced the State winners for the 2022 AMI Marketing Excellence Awards at Doltone House, Sydney.
Bonfire was announced as a national finalist in the Data and Insight-Driven Marketing category at the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) Awards earlier this month for our work on Fleet Network’s Electric Vehicle (EV) lease campaign.
The achievement follows our success at last year’s Awards, where we were named the winner of the Insight-Driven Marketing category for WA. As a result of our work on the EV lease campaign, Fleet Network saw a 1,793% increase in EV enquiries and a 1,567% increase in leases.
“Together with the Fleet Network team, we identified an opportunity in the form of changing Government legislation that would incentivise the purchase of electric vehicles in Australia. Our SEO and Paid Media campaign leveraged Fleet Network’s audience insights, industry data and our own research to ensure Fleet Network was perfectly placed to capture the surge in EV demand resulting from the bill.” said Bonfire’s Ami Price, our Senior Digital Account Executive for Fleet Network.
“As a result of the campaign, we were able to establish Fleet Network as market leaders in the EV leasing space.”
The Data and Insight-Driven Marketing Award recognises the effective use of market and consumer insights to identify and inform the development of marketing strategy. Judges assessed submissions based on how research and data analytics have been used in the formation and execution of successful marketing strategies, paying particular attention to the achievement of KPIs and pre-determined metrics throughout the campaigns.
Bonfire is one of six finalists selected for the award, including the teams from realestate.com.au, Plico, the NSW Department of Customer Service, the NSW Environment Protection Authority and Kantar Australia.
Our congratulations go out to all the finalists for the AMI Awards, in particular, our fellow Western Australian organisations Tourism WA, Trilogy Advertising & Marketing, Block Branding, Assembly + Co., The Hub Marketing Communications, bureau42, Unify, Wildlings Creative Agency, CoreData Group and Perth Festival. The winner of the award will be announced on the 12th of October, 2023, at Fishburners in Sydney, New South Wales.
