Movember is the leading charity movement working to spread awareness and support for men’s mental health, suicide prevention, prostate, and testicular cancer.
The movement encourages participants to challenge themselves by electing to grow a moustache, or ‘mo your own way’ through a variety of fitness-based goals.
Bonfire is proud to announce that our team have nearly doubled our initial goal of $2,000 by raising a massive $3,900 for Movember.
Collectively, the team raised funds by growing great moustaches, running over 200 kilometres, cycling over 1,400 kilometres and completing 600 burpees.
Bonfire appreciates the significant impact men’s health has on all Australians and the importance of supporting initiatives like Movember to provide support and awareness.
Bonfire’s Data and Innovation Manager and Movember team leader, Sam Gabell, felt a deep connection to this cause following the loss of a family member to prostate cancer earlier this year.
“Participating in Movember this year has personal significance to me given the loss of my grandfather after a long-term battle with prostate cancer. I’m proud of the amazing result the Bonfire team have achieved in support of men’s health”.
Thank you to everyone who donated.
