PT Doors has supplied, installed and repaired garage doors across Sydney for years, serving homeowners, commercial operators and strata managers from its own door factory. By early 2024, its search position had slipped: organic visibility had fallen 55% year-on-year, and low-cost competitors were crowding the first page of Google for the terms that mattered most. PT Doors needed more than rankings back. It wanted higher-value commercial and strata work, better-quality enquiries, and a clear return on its marketing spend.

The Work

A booked job starts with the right search. PT Doors didn’t need to be found by everyone looking for a garage door; it needed the homeowner whose spring had just snapped and the strata manager pricing a building’s worth of doors. So the strategy began by separating the searches that lead to work from the ones that only lead to traffic.

The homeowner wants someone who can come now, so we generated awareness for PT Doors at the top of Google for emergency and after-hours repairs. The strata manager runs a slower process across a portfolio of buildings, so the commercial pages were sharpened: industrial installations, gates and automation. Location pages reached searches suburb by suburb across the Sydney metro, and a technical tune-up kept the site clean while the rankings climbed.

But search only puts you in front of people. What turned those searches into booked work was the groundwork behind the brand: sponsorships, networking, and over 700 Google reviews at 4.9 stars. Plenty of businesses know reviews matter and stop at knowing. PT Doors did the work, and now surfaces in AI search results that weigh reputation and trust.
