Sarah Salameh landed in SEO almost by chance, picking between two roles at a London media agency with barely a job description between them. Eight years and two continents later, she is known for a calm, detailed and fluid approach to even the most complex technical challenges.

That first choice turned into a two year stint abroad, working on global names including Lululemon and Converse, before she returned home to Perth and joined Bonfire as a junior content specialist. She worked her way up through technical SEO to strategist and team leader, specialising in foundational technical SEO, holistic organic strategy and AI search readiness. Along the way her focus shifted from building smarter strategies to building smarter systems, which led to a bespoke organic visibility reporting tool for Bonfire's internal teams. It incorporated AI Overview metrics well ahead of most third-party providers, and has saved the business tens of thousands of dollars in tool costs. She introduced it to more than 200 Perth marketers at Bonfire's Funnel Vision 2025 event, opening alongside Google and moderating the Q&A.

As SEO Lead at Bonfire, Sarah's role spans product, strategy and people. She keeps internal teams trained on the tool she built, manages her own portfolio of client accounts, and leads a team of five SEO strategists. She is also a committed advocate for growing SEO talent, shaping the next generation of strategists through the Youngbloods and JumpStart graduate programs.
