Objectives
To maintain their position as Perth’s #1 Wholesaler, The Cake Factory engaged Bonfire to produce a comprehensive digital marketing strategy, with an aim to increase leads, Google rankings and brand awareness. In order to reach their intended goals, Bonfire’s strategy involved:
- Attracting a larger market by increasing organic traffic
- Focusing on new and relevant keywords to increase website exposure
- Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to track and report consumer calls
With Bonfire’s call tracking system, I have been able to easily measure the amount of calls being delivered via organic traffic. The keyword tags help me evaluate what is discussed in each phone call and I find the email alerts extremely valuable. We recently secured a contract from a large customer and due to this tracking in place, I was able to attribute that the lead originated from SEO traffic which Bonfire is providing for me.
Results
Using an all-inclusive organic search strategy, The Cake Factory’s campaign began in October 2017 and in less than 12 months the campaign already showed promising results. A massive 95% of keywords rank on page 1 of Google, with 78% of traffic directly from organic reach. Partnering with Bonfire has also allowed over 1,600 calls to be tracked with AI, 76% of them including the tag “order”.
