Bonfire has been awarded Digital Agency of the Year at the 2025 Campaign Brief WA Awards, capping off a year of innovation, growth, and strategic leadership in performance marketing.

This recognition affirms Bonfire’s position as one of Western Australia’s leading independent digital agencies and a trusted growth partner to ambitious brands nationwide.

“This award is a tribute to the team behind our innovation and the clients who trust us to deliver real commercial impact,” said Clay Cook, Bonfire CEO and Founder. “In 2024, we leaned into every challenge—AI, data privacy shifts, economic pressures—and found ways to turn them into opportunity.”

A Defining Year for Performance

In a year shaped by change, Bonfire delivered standout results. The agency managed over $13.7 million in media spend, onboarded 42 new clients, expanded 87 existing partnerships, and returned a median ROI of $21.60 for every $1 spent—driving significant wins for clients including Cancer Council WA and EPI Group.

Performance Foundations for the Future

Bonfire’s long-term investments continue to shape its trajectory. In 2024, the agency invested over $227K in professional development, deepened its AI capabilities through custom-built analytics tools, and refined its client engagement model to strengthen delivery and responsiveness.

Staff tenure remains a competitive strength, with Bonfire’s leadership averaging 16.6 years and eight internal promotions in 2024.

WA Roots, National Reach

Headquartered in Subiaco, Bonfire continued to grow its national footprint in 2024. The agency was recognised as a Meta Badged Business Partner, retained its Google Premier Partner status for the eighth consecutive year, and secured high-value digital engagements across Australia through platform partnerships and strategic collaborations.

Bonfire also strengthened its industry presence through leadership and advocacy:

  • Hosted AI in Action with Google AUNZ, drawing over 180 attendees.
  • Sponsored the CEO Institute’s WA Summit.
  • Delivered strategic workshops for senior marketers across key sectors.

This is Bonfire’s third Campaign Brief WA title, following wins in 2022 and 2019.
